noun
  1. (slang) (very insulting) An Australian aborigine. Also applied to indigenous people of New Guinea, Malaysia, etc.
Etymology: Suggested as having an Australian aboriginal origin, but that seems unlikely. One possibility is bung (elder brother) in the Jakarta dialect of Indonesian. (Reference: w:R. M. W. Dixon, R. M. W. Dixon, Australian Aboriginal Words'', Oxford University Press, 1990, ISBN 0-19-553099-3, page 165.)
