The heterodox religious beliefs of the followers of w:Nestorius, Nestorius, who held that Christ has two natures, one wholly human and one wholly divine, that Mary was the mother of his human nature, and that each is to be worshiped as God (as opposed to the orthodox view that that Christ has two natures, both fully man and fully God, and is co-eternal and co-substantial with the Father).
